HOW TO REMOVE / CHANGE BEARINGS (Penny, Longboard, Cruiser board)

This video shows how to remove and change bearings on a penny board or bantam st cruiser board. It works the same way for a skateboard or longboard. In this example Mini-Logo bearings are put into Globe wheels.

I'd say put the metal part towards the outside. Feel like it will protect the bearing better against the elements

Good thinking, i believe I had that idea as well but somewhere i read that the rubber side seals better but has a little more friction.. Not sure if it makes a noticable difference

Do you have to use our hands for speed cream or can I use another object? I see a lot of people using toothbrush

Speed cream comes in a little bottle to directly apply a few drops. A toothbrush might be helpful before that when you remove dirt

How many speed rings do you need 8 or 16

Turning has something to do with the bushings (the little rubber / plastic parts) or the trucks themselves! First you could unthighten the screw on the trucks. Google something like 'loosen kingpin' ;)

Welcome ;) no prob - it's possible without speed rings but they can help the bearings spin freely..

Normally you can use the board without speed rings but I would try to get some new ones as they can help reduce friction

Yeah there's one universal size of bearings that fits penny skate and longboards

You might find the necessary things in any tool box but a dedicated skate tool can be a good investment in the long run ;)
