Penny Board - Bearings Replacement Video

Hey guys! Just wanted to share this video of me replacing my Penny board's bearings after over 2 solid years!
Quite a simple process to be quite honest. New bearings holding up well.

I was skating today and my entire wheel just popped off. Usually my friend replaces them when necessary, but due to covid I couldn't see him and had to do it myself. Your video was pretty helpful, thanks :)

one of my bearing exploded sand I can’t get the metal casing out of the wheel. i’ve been spraying lubricant and using as much strength as humanly possible but it won’t budge. I even pried at the edge of the soft wheel material enough to stretch it open to wedge a flathead in between the bearing casing and the actual wheel itself. I can only stretch it open a couple of millimeters but I think I see more metal digging into the wheel all along the circumference of the bearing but I can’t be sure…. did Penny make wheels with non removable bearings at some point? and i’ve changed the bearings out of regular skateboard wheels hundreds of times so I have an idea of how it’s supposed to go… I really don’t want to have to but a brand new set of penny board wheels cuz they’re the same price as a complete smh

Can you lubricate the bearing where it touches the wheel?

Yes some do that as well. I should have honestly done that as I notices some roughness post-fitment

@@kallmekayak yo thanks for the reply! It turned out that the outer part my old broken bearings were still stuck in the wheel. I manually got them out with a lot of labor strength and sweat!! The bones reds do fit now

TN “t-tool” or “skate tool”. Work great for skateboards and will literally be the only tool you’ll need for skateboard maintenance.
