First off, thank you so much for this tutorial. It was heaps helpful. I managed to remove all the trims as shown in your video except for the meter ring trim. You said to lower then steering wheel and then squeeze and grab the middle and pull. I tried doing exactly that and pulled really hard but it won't budge even a little. Some help pls??

Russell sorry about that. I know I said to pull the middle, but I meant to say the inner parts of the rings closest to the screen in the middle. Just pull on one side at a time and it should pop out. In my video, I did pull out one side at a time, but misspoke.

Can you believe it? Here in Kellogg, ID the mechanic didn't wear a mask while working on an oil change. But as a silver lining I got all the other junk out of the AC vents now.

Very nice tutorial. I just done wrapping my trimmings. Now I have a question. How did you manage to connect the wires frome the steering wheel/controls? It seems they’re too short especially the one on the left. Thanks much.

honestly i pulled pretty hard on the wires to reconnect the controls. if i remember correctly, the wires came out a bit more on my steering wheel after some tugging.

Jesus Santiago I didn't wrap the steering wheel emblem. I used a sticker made of the same material for it off camera. I believe that the emblem is glued onto the airbag cover which I wouldn't try removing personally

You have to take apart your center console, which I didn't want to do. I honestly don't mind the silver because I don't really look down or notice it much.

Using incorrect tools.. were damage the parts. correct tools for internal parts removing are makes from plastics.

i just show how i removed the parts. my plastic trims have no signs of any damage. edit: you can still damage the trim with plastic tools anyway.
