Hi just found your channel very interesting 👍 l bought a 12 seater iveco the single seats have only one set of legs but their is a side rail on the wall l imagine they go on to it some how only l cant figure it out as all the seats where already out when l bought it, have you any idea as to how they fit please and thank you in advance 👍

I've got one of these type of seats in my vw T4. About £600 new. Awesome seats.

ounce you release the locking mechanism can the seat slide up and down the rails or do you have to lift the seat out of the rails to change position?

@@paulfindlay6169 You lift the seat out mate. Cannot slide it. It's not as bad as it sounds easy to do. 👍🏻

I’ve just brought a similar minibus so will be watching this series with great interest. I was thinking of laying a new floor on top of the original one as it looked a real pain taking your floor out. Do you feel there will be any issues with taking this approach. Great video hope you keep posting with updates. Cheers Roy.

If you lay new flooring on top of the old, you will reduce the head height quite a lot which I can’t afford to loose being over 6ft. Takin it up on my own was a pain, 2 1/2 days but would be quicker and easier with help

Did you sell those seat locking mechanisms? Or are you going to? I would like to get hold of 2 or 4 and a strip of what it attaches to the floor. I need to put a single seat in for my kid with a seatbelt for the back of the van but it needs to be removable, that's why I'm asking.

Why did it have the middle two tracks as well under the seats ?

for adjustable seat layouts from when it was a minibus. Some wheelchairs also secure to these tracks so also for that use

@@TheCampervanBuilder can any double seat be used with the unwin rails system, ( possibly with adaption?) or do they need to be Unwin specifically designed for rails ? I’d like to put a couple of doubles facing each other like a train in my Vario camper and thinking rails might be the way

@@timothybint4960 with adaption you can make almost anything work as desired. you can buy the feet on their own so presume it'd be doable but not legal it would be to carry passengers without inspection, I don't know
