In this video we will show you how to remove or replace the intake manifold on Mazda CX-7. We demonstrated on a 2011 Mazda CX-7 but the procedure will be the same for the whole generation with the 2.3 engine from 2006 to 2012 and even might work on Mazdaspeed 3 and Mazdaspeed 6

Hey guys, great video! Helps put a lot. I had one question, on the removal of the power steering reservoir. That bolt that connects then with the silver arms . U didnt completely remove it because you can.move it from side to side.. I cant get that bolt losen for the life of me. I tried almost everything but fire. Any help would be appreciated..ty guys and keep.up the awesome videos

Love the videos. I have the same car with a 2.5l. I lost heat and leaking coolant from under the plate with “intake manifold runner valve” do you know what this is or what it’s bolted to? ( it has four thorax bolts that is holding the valve assembly) what is underneath that valve assembly? That is where my leak is..

your videos are so so helpful mate! i recently changed injectors seals and had the injectors cleaned. put inverting back together ,now my speed 3 is not running.it turns on, but when im on first going into 2nd car starts to kick and lose power when i give it gas. what can it be? i just change the crank shaft sensor, fuel pressure sensor, still acting the same. now i wanna change the fuel pressure regulator and map sensor. im hoping it solves the problem but watching your videos makes it so clear how to go into it.

I don’t see anywhere to message you guys. But I have been having a lot of trouble with my runner control being stuck. On a Mazda CX-7 however, I replaced the runner control and I checked the hoses. And the hoses seem to be fine. Is it possible the vacuum valve actuator can go out on these cars? Causing it to not get the pressure???

How many bolts in total are there? I count six I can feel - 5 at the top, one side ways, and one at the bottom - is that all of them? Sure would help to know there is no other hidden ones I need to worry about. Can I just slide the pump to the left or do I need to take off the serpentine belt?

Alright guys I appreciate all the videos as my wife's cx7 has had some issues now it's all back together I cannot get an engine code to come up but has LOW idle 6&700 rpm when hit the gas it revs good but in gear it just boggs down. Any suggestions?

Can someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me what the hose is that runs from the top of what the thermostat bolts into and runs across the front of the engine underneath the intake manifold and then turns and runs up toward the driver? The only way to see and remove it is to remove the intake manifold. The Mazda dealership cant seem to tell me what I need to order... Please somebody help!

Look for the 2007 Mazda CX-7 Workshop Manual online, it should have torque specs and its available a few places. This manual works for a range of model years for these CX-7s.

Heat up the end of a flat head screw driver with a torch. When it is cherry hot push it up into the screw a few millimeters where the head broke and pull it out... once it has all cooled you can then reinsert the flat head screwdriver and unscrew the broken screw. It worked for me wonderfully!

It was not necesary..to unassenbly the power stering pump....You could loose the bolts..firts the closer to the pump....With this you don´t need to bleed the fluid....and the belt continue mounted in the pulleys.

I'm doing that now . I got a no start issue , it's getting spark and air so to check the injectors I have to take this off . Car manufacturers are idiots

jean jacque yeap check the connections good they tend to get broke when repairs are being performed in that area. This one in particular was cyl 1 misfire and fuel injector implausible. Only thing done to it before we had it was a power steering pump replacement.In which they broke the connector on the injector somehow
