Jevonne Jules a major part of it was just experimenting. Then I found that it helps the loose hairs loc faster Opposed to the hair just being loosy goosy. I don't have to twist and palm roll them and They'll naturally reshape after I take them out wash

Hey I'm starting my dreads with rubber bands but it seems they not locking and it's been a few months do u think I have the rubber bands too tight this is my 4th set of dreads but I've done it totally different every time this is my first time trying rubber bands can u give me sum pointers

Tonio Orr hey! How would you describe your hair texture ? Have you washed them since putting them on? I've found that washing or just simply wetting them daily actually helps with them locing

How often should I redo my rubber bands on my puff balls should I do it as I get new growth or should I give it more time to just grow

Tonio Orr after every wash was when I did mine. But if your hair grows fast (mine don't ) them switch them out sooner with the new growth. Its just easier after a wash cause your hair is still damp .
