You can actually delete a player's home that’s not tied to the Switch! Go to the title screen and press - and Tom Nook will appear and he will tell you how to delete others houses, money and miles.

In case anybody deleted the extra user from the switch thinking that would solve the problem you have two options: 1. If the account was linked you can re download that user and start the game and 2. If the user wasn’t linked to any Nintendo account you can just make a new one and start the game, the game will automatically tell you that there’s already a user that wasn’t registered to Nintendo and if you would like to proceed to play with it, accept and do everything in this video :)

I did the same thing but you can fix it! Add an account and play ac and select something along the lines of playing as the other character, then you that new account will get linked with the other one and then you can delete it :)

Yes, just go through the same process as the video and Nook will caution you against deleting the main account but offer to let you delete the unattached account. (Just deleted my kids account after we got her her own switch and i thought deleting the profile would be enough.)

If you deleted a user and their house was left there, main menu, settings, user, make a new user, go in the game , it will ask if you want to use unused data, say use old data, it will be fixed, then go to settings in game and use the method above.

If you already deleted your other account before you remove the house, you can create another account and sign into animal crossing. After that, Timmy and Tommy will ask you if you want to play as a different player. Then you say yes, and click on the player that you want to delete. After that, just do as the tutorial says. There you go!

For everyone who wants to delete the user that's *not* tied to the switch: go to the main menu, click on the - and then press on "save data" and after that do "delete other resident's data" and you should delete it then! Hope this helped

You have to use the account that made the house and go to the same place that you pay for the upgrade with that account and ask to move it

If you deleted the switch profile BEFORE you deleted their tent/house, just log into ACNH with a fresh switch profile and it'll ask if you want to play as the existing ACNH resident you lost access to. Simply follow this videos steps to then delete that resident by going into the settings from the title screen. Hope this helps!

(The last time he destroyed a park) and the last time I just deleted the account from the switch hoping it’d make the tent go away, but I just have it there now whith no way to move it. im pretty sure if you accidentally do this on a main acc tom nook says that you can only delete the island by deleting your save data through the settings on the switch, and he says a lot of times that if you delete your (main) acc that the whole island will be gone. i know cus i restarted back in november

If you had already deleted the acc on ur Nintendo switch and the tent or house is still there just go to the loading screen press minus then press delete registration and he will offer u to delete that other person instead of urs. yw!

So the game will remember an account but look into ways to make like a guest or another account and have the account if it has any online membership subscription as like the main account of the switch so both can use online features, but besides that the game will remember the villager unless it’s a fresh account like u can remove the tent but the account even if deleted will b remember the account
