Awesome video. I have a 2016 5.0. Sounds like a tank. I’m in the middle of removing wires now. They are all in a tight position for sure. Got 3 of the 5 off so far. Sometimes you just have to walk away before you get upset. Thanks for the video. I’m using it step by step. 😊

Thank you, sir! Got a P2007 on my 2017 F150 and I now know that I can definitely do this myself. Much appreciated, sir!

great job man.That power director symbol on the vid is a pain in the ass.

Stupid computer screwed up so I had to reset windows and when I did for some reason I lost my power director account even though I pay for it so I got to figure that out so I can get rid of that stupid thing

You really did a good service to put this video together. I am 74 years old and this is a tough job, but I did it. The wire connectors in the back are the worst part of the job. I busted the locks but they seem to be holding well when I reconnected them. I bought a Dorman and put it on. They could have used a better install guide. I guessed where to time the two sensors on the back. You need to be careful time them, I think. I bought some silicone spray which works for the O rings. Thanks again!!! nice video.,

Did this repair myself yesterday on my 17' F150 5.0 (90,000 miles) thanks to this video. P2007 code is gone! Hardest part of the job was the connectors at the back of the manifold. Showing even what they looked like would have made this video go from exceptional to excellent. Overall great job and thank you for posting.

I’m doing the crank sensor right now, could you get to the sensor easily with the intake off?
@My_Little_Hobby18 күн бұрын
For crank position sensor you should be going in from the passenger side wheel well just remove the liner and it is right behind the manifold and not too hard to get

So I’m doing this now, when I pulled the fuel rail the injectors didn’t come on one side, so I had to pull them after. Now I’m having a hard time getting the injectors back on the fuel rail any tips?

Is there suppose to be a liquid inside your intake? I took off my throttle body and noticed fluid inside the intake.

I think a small amount of oil Blow by would be normal but anything beyond that would be considered a problem

First off thanks man for the video. My rods in the manifold work just fine like yours. What was the next step for you?
@My_Little_Hobby6 ай бұрын
For me I believe it was the timing chain tensioner seal causing oil to leak making it so it would not build up the pressure to actuate the cam phasers once the engine was hot and the oil thinned out. To fix it I bought a new truck

I have a 2017 f-150 5.0 I have a check engine light on for code P2005. Is there another fix besides buying a whole new intake manifold?
@My_Little_Hobby7 ай бұрын
Sorry I don't really know but I did end up buying mine on Amazon and it actually looked to be reasonably good quality when compared with the original but time will tell. Also I should mention that it ended up not being my only issue as it is hey cam phaser issue that was causing the rattling in my truck.

I can't get my fuel rail off. I'm afraid I'm going to break it

Did you get it?

I had to use a longer prybar to gently pull it up with more force than just my hands.
