I went to do this tonight (August 2023) and it didn’t work, I started searching and I think they’ve intentionally done away with it. I was able to get to the ‘start button’ on the YT extension in which instead of being thrilled to see all the subs go to unsubscribe … it did nothing but tell me there was nothing to unsubscribe… while I was looking at over 500 subs, I’ve spent the entire day messing with this to no avail… Im thinking deleting the entire account and starting again is probably the solution. Its awful how disorganized YT can be. If anyone reads this and knows if they rendered the YT removal useless PLEASE LET ME KNOW! What a waste of a day…. 🤬

Hello David. I like your video but it didn't work. I have 968 subscriptions. I opened Chrome, installed the unsubscribe after clearing history and I go back and check but the subscription box still says I have 968. It is odd, when I click on the subscription box to view them, the screen freezes and I have to close window on mac and open new one. Any suggestions?

Hey! The same thing happened to me. So this is what you’re gonna wanna do open a new browser and then after you do that you’re gonna uninstall the extension, then reinstall it and then go onto the new tab and then open the extension and then click start. It’ll redirect you to another page with all your subscriptions. You might’ve already been on that, but this page only works and then click start and it should work.

What about KZbin channels which have been banned or deleted? I can't see them on as channel anymore but it still shows I'm subscribed to them.

So basically I have 1 channel which I was subscribed to but is now banned (due copyrights) It doesn't show up on the subscription list as icon (like the channels picture) but it shows I'm subscribed to 2 channels even tho only 1. (After I used the unsubscribe all)

I still have no idea how many subs i have. I don't have a sidebar like you show. All i have is a hamburger menu - subscriptions link - page that offers these options: Manage (goes to a page with the insanely long list of active subs... you can turn them off one at a time...) or the option of GRID or LIST. I suppose you tried, but zero help for me.

Thanks very much for this information. I was quite frustrated by not being able to unsubscribe using my iPad especially after I discovered how many channels I had subscribed to ! Actually I don’t remember visiting many of the sites. I used the app on my iPhone and was able to finally delete the subscriptions.

does not work as of today . using chrome . UPDATE : it works "SORT OF " once you click start you will see flashing on your screen a round button that says cancel in white letters and unsubscribe in BLUE letters :>>>> you have to put your cursor on the blue letters and quickly keep on clicking it until the script ends . hit cancel to rate it you will see on the left bottom of the screen a flashing sig UNSUBCRIVING OVER AND OVER . when this stops hit F5 and refresh and start all over . I am down from 989 to 402 . I will do a second update here and see if I get rid of some channels that no longer allow you to unsubscribe stay tuned >>>>>>>>>>> ALL GONE . thanks

No offense to the video. I HAVE REMOVED THE OTHER SUBSCRIPTION LISTED IN MY ADDRESS WITHOUT USING ANY COMPUTER USING MY MOBILE PHONE ONLY AND THAT WAS JUST LESS THAN 4 DAYS AGO SEPTEMBER 2022. The channels I found listed in my address is not made by me. Now the option for removing them is no where to be found. Those channels listed are the channels I watch because it has good content.
