Really good thanks. I got the screw out but not the handle off! Tightened packing nut for first time in 50 years to my knowledge and stopped the leak from the handle.

Very helpful, thank you. Good tip to put the plug in especially with that grub screw! Wish I had had a strap wrench before - Remember using them to change oil filters on my car but didn't think of it for faucets. Using a cloth to protect the relatively soft metal of the faucet never worked for me as the wrench bites through it. Will be getting one of those rubber wrenches.

Great video thanks .........my old taps DONT have this little screw for the head ( the taps are french ! ) so what should i do , i bought them of Ebay and they are very dirty inside the nozzle can i clean with costic soda ?

Look for a screw threading into the central stem under a cap on the top end above the wings of the handle. Pry the cap off to expose the screw. (After 2 months I figure you must have done something ;) )
