Hi my 2008 Rav4 steering rack the pinion spline appears to have some side to side play. Is that from the ball bearing thats pressed onto the pinion gear? or does could it be that threaded retainer with all the holes on the top that needs to be tightened more? I would like to buy a rebuild kit if you sell it.

thats easy to get, and get the bush end when you work on it

what is the actual problem with the rack? what are the symptoms? I have my mechanical rack removed, but I don't see any play. I thought there was a problem with it, but I just don't see anything.
