This video deserves more likes!!! Absolutely amazing DIY format!! I watch YT how to videos for so many things and this one is by far the best..Calming music, shows you how to fix without some blabber mouth with a shakey camera talking the whole time. Took apart, cleaned, ordered new parts from the link, and re-assembled perfectly until new parts arrive so I didn't lose anything in the meantime. The only hiccup I would give advice on is that when you go to put the battery holder back in, there are 2 "keepers" on it at the bottom that capture the red and black wires from the vibration thingy's on each sides and hold them out of the way so you don't pinch when putting the back cover on. Missed it the first time and they would have gotten pinched, other than that, FLAWLESS!! Great Job

Accept it's not that simple to pair up exactly the ohms resistance pot side you need on an aged track with a new wiper 😂🤣😭. I'm probably a blather mouth 👄, because you know working context & info ℹ️ is essential 🫦 to getting it right 👍🏼 not right now with nothing said 🫠😬🤐😶😶🌫️🙊. Nothing to listen 👂🏻 to, nothing said about the working pit 🕳️ falls of calibration complexity 🤷🏼♂️, trust me they are can be complicated to get right 🫸🏼🎮🕹️🕹️🎯🎯🪛🪛🫷🏼. This blather mouth 👄🗣️📢 has such answers. Clean videos 📽️ 🎬🎞️🎬 how much do they tell you 🫵🏼 really 🙉, hey what who said that lol...

I just did it! I fixed my Dualsense! I thought I wouldn't be able to, but following your instructions, it worked. Thank you so much! One more subscriber.

Used a similar method myself and it worked a treat. Wish I’d seen this video beforehand! Nice work

Just followed your video and cleaned the left stick on my controller. Stick drift is gone, hope it lasts. Great video, thanks ❤

Excellent video! Thanks for the help, cleaning the sensor with rubbing alcohol and swabbing the sensor contact fixed my drift without replacing the sensor completely. Cheers!

drift will return within a couple months because the OEM ones and replacement garbage you find on eBay are the same.

why didnt you put a white new sensor in it where you get that black sensor from ???

Do you know the exact type of thumbstick modules used on the PS5? They seem to have pots with a different resistance to the PS4. Can they be purchased anywhere?
@OneSwitch2 жыл бұрын
@@XQGaming Is it true that they are different to the PS4 thumb-stick modules? When I fit them they don't seem to get to 100% strength. Not even with a correction PCB with the little pots on.
@XQGaming2 жыл бұрын
@@OneSwitch I think they are the same, when I compare them they have the same spring inside as PS4.

@@XQGaming Thanks for that. I was more thinking of the potentiometers.

Hi, is there a way to know if I need the green or orange sensors without opening up the controller? My serial number ends in A. Thanks.
@GOATGamerProSticks Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure it works that way for the potentiometer 🕹️ batch coding for orange or green pot sides 🤷🏼♂️.

A lot of third party switch controllers support calibration as a workaround to this problem. It's criminal for Sony to give no shit especially since it's twice the price.

intentional, they expected these to break and people to buy replacements. Funny how my PS2 controller still functions perfectly fine with the same tech.

Got an issue. Bought your sensor wheels. They don't fit the little hole in the centre seems smaller than the wheels I took out. Now I've accidentally snapped the whole green part (mine is orange) because it wouldn't close with these new sensor wheels.
@XQGaming2 жыл бұрын
Email me via the website, I have uploaded orange module sensors as well, before there where only sensors for the green modules.

guys, dont pull your potentiometer too much. The 3 legs might break and chip off...
@XQGaming2 жыл бұрын
Yes correct, also if bend too much this will happen. I did it a couple times but I snapped them back in place and put some solder on the broken connection so they work again.

@@XQGaming Same man, but what happened to my Xbox controller is when I wirelessly connect the up and down does not work. But when I connect it in wired, it works perfectly

The 4 screws were installed too tightly at the factory and 1 is now stripped. This has happened with other Chinese products. 20 hour shifts and no QA inspectors I suppose…
@Marekk_2k2 жыл бұрын
Did you really have analog drift in this particular black pad, or did you just show what to do if there was an analog drift? I am asking because I can see that it is the inspector after the revision (with "A" at the end)
@prao4603 Жыл бұрын
Ok so I was able to fix this issue with my left analog (drifting left) by just blowing really really hard into the left analog stick's gaps with my mouth. Probably similar to using compressed air, but much faster if you dont own any lol. Probably a YMMV thing and might not work for everyone but its easy to try.

Yes finally a good idea, expense but they goin in the right direction
@tokyo66932 жыл бұрын
its their plan, your going to have to switch and keep buying analog sticks everytime it starts to drift. Their store section of new module stick is just a gimmick to earn more money.

have an issue with a 40$ joystick? just buy a 20$ kit, a 10$ bottle, take your controller apart with no experience, fix the drift and seal it back without causing any other damage and without guarantee you will actually fix it. then wait a few days to find your joystick fucked up and just buy a new one. "link in the description". just WOW..............
