Big Thanks! (& Have just transferred that as well.) The original Fiat manual incorrectly notes one should disconnect the electric connector first - but even trying to do so is a nightmare and, worse, thanks to you we now know there’s no need to do so whatsoever. We’re in Italy at the midst of our maiden trip with our new second-hand Ducato L3H4 and were delighted to find your clear explanation. I've seen that it's advisable to take those bolts out and put copper slip on them to stop them siezing in place. Thanks for the no-nonsense vid.

2003 Ducato: I tried what you said about moving the headlamp to one side but it did not work, mine has a ball and socket fitting which you have to pull straight out, but it is very tight

The video on replacing the clutch/ gearbox shows the two bolts holding in the starter motor, then it’s just two wires and it’s off👍🏻🛠 you might need to remove the lower bolt from underneath, thanks for the great comments 👍🏻👍🏻
