How To Replace a Peugeot 106 Radiator and Coolant Change

Complete start to finish replacement of a Peugeot 106 Radiator.
Coolant system bleeding and change.
This year was a Peugeot XN 1998 1.1 Petrol.
I think the 1996-2005 models are the same.

Thanks for the vid, i bought one 106 a few days ago and the temperature goes up and its a leak on the right side of the radiator, this week i'm gonna change it. I hope it comes out easily. Have a great week!

No problem. Make sure to bleed the coolant system when the new radiator is in or the coolant willl not circulate and you're overheating light will come up on the dash 😊

Hi mate, do you know if the phase 1 and phase 2 106 radiators have a different sized temperature sender? I’ve bought one and it appears to be way to small

I genuinely could not tell you, You could check that without taking the radiator out.

I think the sensor in this video (attached to the radiator) is the fan sensor. Tells the fan to go on/off. The actual temp sensor is on the engine. There's a green and a blue one. Blue sends to the gauge in the instrument cluster and green to the ecu. So the green one is the actual temp sensor. Of course there might be changes depending on model year and 1.1 or 1.4 and so on...
