How to replace a Slipper Clutch and Spur gear on a Traxxas Slash 2WD

Hey! Thank you so much for this video! I had the rebuild kit already done. My problem was that the slipper wasn't making contact with the gear (spur) anymore. I watch so many videos and nobody said or did anything for it. You're the only person who showed you could adjust the engine where u need it to be. And for that reason alone, I was able to fix my sons rc car! I'm so new to this stuff lol ugh. Thank you!!!

The "star shaped" pattern which is just going clockwise in a triangle shape was funny and then when you dropped those 3 slipper clutch plates you should definitely shown how you ended doin it which i imagine was putting the damn thinf on its side?

Thanks for vid. Question for you. The shaft that holds the slipper clutch shown at about the six minute mark in this vid has come way out and is loose on my car..Any clue as to why?

There is a rolled pin on the other end of that shaft, it may be broken

why is the screw holding the spring in place also turning the draveshafts when i try to take off the spur gear? i'm trying to screw the nut off but its turning everything, even tho i'm holding the spur gear in place.

I have a question, i changed out the gear and smaller gear for a drag racing one that comes with the traxxas 2wd and when everything was done it wasnt no steady throttle it was always snappy, any help?

recently my stampede's spur gear, which was plastic, was grinded down and kept slipping. so i purchased the metal gear. my pads were also worn so i purchased thos too. anyone have any advice to keep the gears from slipping? im new to the traxxas family and would appreciate the help.

You failed to explain how to adjust the clutch for initial operation. Tighten the bolt all the way until the spring is fully compressed, then back off the nut a small turn.
