So I bought a replacement digitizer and installed it and put the unit back together exactly how it was. Now when I start up my Charger the screen is either completely solid white or white around the edges with pitch black in the center. The touch screen works when you press the screen and the radio still works and out of memory I can press for the seat warmers and everything its just the display itself you cant see anything. What would have caused this? It displayed normally before I took it out it was just ghost touching due to the delamination.

Hi there I just have a question for my 2017 Grand Cherokee. I have an older unit from a 2015. Are the screen/digitisers the same? They look the same side by side. I’m guessing the screen/digitiser are the same??? Any help would be much appreciated

hi if you did not buy it from us then it could be a bad screen or a bad radio or you put the ribbon cable in crooked or to much pressure on the screen we check every screen before we ship them out

Question… If the only problem you’re having with this radio is the delamination of the outer most screen covering, can you just peel this off and call it good without having to replace the entire screen?

You need to buy a harness with a module you can find them on eBay for around 300 bucks I have a professional tester from Chrysler that cost me about $5000

@@Bum5GHTKrew its not just to fix the air bubble after a wile your screen . will start to leak and then it will not work anymore i charge $1200 installed to car dealerships so $650 its not bad this screen is the new model number that ends in 02 that will not leak or get air baubles the old model number ends in 01
