will this machine work with a dead battery?

@@EdwardInTX so even on AC power, plugged in - the Unit WONT work at all? The battery is necesary for operation when plugged in to a wall?

@@sdsbc-z2l yes because the usual charger that comes with it is only enough to charge, not to maintain. If you get a charger that can push 12v 84w then it will run.
