I don't have the money for a mechanic. I'm stuck doing my own maintenance. Is the piston usually hard to push back so that you need a clamp? Or should I undo the top reservoir first and that is why it is hard to move piston?

@@CantharusENG Okay thanks. I've already replaced the brake pads and drained the fluid and moved the piston back. Managed okay with channel lock pliers.

hey, how about if you want to push the piston forward ? (e.g tighten the brake) i just took it to the mechanic for fork reconditioning and he seems to have tighten up my brake too much ( now it rubs against the disc at certain point as my disc i s slightly bent)

You need to replace your disc. To tighten the brake, just push the lever. If doesn't work you need to rebuild also the brake pump.

@@CantharusENG Right.most motor bikes, but I am looking for Piaggio zip 50 4t or 2t. I couldn't take the caliper out, because it interferes with the wheel rim. M2aybe I should remove or desengage the brake disk in order to be able to remove the brake caliper.

@@vicent436 If the brake disk is worn (even a little) You have to spread a little bit the brake pads. use some flat screw driver but try to open a little bit just 2 millimeters should be enought.

You mean that the lever was moving full scale without braking? You may have old brake fluid. This cause vapor in the brake line due to hot braking and the air compress it self instead of compress the brake pad
