Thanks a bundle! This video gave me the confidence to replace the brakes, rotors and calipers (mine was exactly the same on the front passenger side - broken) 2004 Dodge Dakota 2WD. It's my farm truck so didn't want to spend the dollars a shop would charge but it's still in great shape otherwise. See folks, even a 65-year-old farm girl can learn something new.

Crack the bleeder valve when you compress the piston and you can pretty much do it by hand just make sure you tighten it back up as soon as it's compressed all the way and you don't have to worry about bleeding the lines at all

@@kentuckyyankee Yes, I did. But You're right though, I did not realize that was grease, I thought it was leaking brake fluid. Thanks for your reply!

How's she goin'? Nice video and a very good explanation of what needs to get done to carry out this job!!! I was wondering why 1/2 way through the job, all of a sudden you have the black gloves on!!! Were your hands just about dirty enough? LOL Thanks for posting and Happy 4th of July!!!

I was expecting the brake police/trolls to be on you for not greasing up the pad to caliper and piston areas. Well.. now my comment is the trolliest. Sweet.
