How to Replace Dash Lights 1999-2008 Ford F-350/F250 (*NO SPECIAL TOOLS*)

In this video, I will show you how to replace your dash lights on your 1999-2008 Ford F-350 or Ford F-250. This process is straightforward, but it can be tedious at times. Good video generally speaking. Only suggestion that would've changed it to excellent: Instead of flitting back and forth with partial views of the back of the cluster board like a squirrel on crack, would've been to take a moment to give a clear steady shot of the whole back of the board at one time. That way we'd know prior to tearing it apart, exactly how many of each light we would need to complete the project. Of course, you could also just list them in the comments or description of parts used. Thanks for posting!

Is all this necessary to change the bulb for the battery light? My alternator is not working. Replaced the plug at the alternator. My battery light doesn't come on. Some say the bulb is not allowing it to compleye the circut. Thank you for your video

Not quite sure what you are asking, but the bulb has nothing to do with the alternators ability to charge. The bulb should come on of the alternator is not charging. An easy way to tell if your alternator isn't working is to measure voltage with the engine on...it should be more than 12.5 volts...hope this helps

REPLACED THE MASTER CYLINDER ON MY 99 F-350. BRAKE WARNING LIGHT IS NOW CONSTANTLY ON. Checked all the obvious circuit switches and the light is still stuck on. Narrowing the problem to Rear anti-lock brake system or a defective GEM. Where is the GEM located on early model 1999 ford F350 super-duty 7.3 diesel, I needed to find an exploded view on my rear ABS system Kelsey-Hayes 82793 on the casting. Or just take out the light. Can you make videos on hard to find subjects? Very helpful video ,Thanks Mile High Mechanic.

To further narrow down the issue, I would have the ECU scanned to see the code that the brake circuit is throwing. From there it should be an easy diagnosis.
