This video shows you how to install a new driver's side CV axle from TRQ on your 2009-2014 Ford F-150. A CV axle has flexible joints. Often, these joints wear out, or seize from contaminants due to the protective boot tearing open. A worn joint is prone to breakage, or other hazards. If your vehicle needs a new CV axle, install a quality TRQ axle that is engineered to your vehicle’s specifications.

Mine is a 2013. Did you remove transmission fluid before replacing the axle or does it remove dry like that? I ask because I replaced the driver's side cv axle on my dad's GMC Acadia and a lot of fluid drained out of the transmission. Of course, the Acadia had a convenient way of filling the transmission fluid back in, so it wasn't an issue. The F150 has a morse way for adding fluid. I'd just like to know what I'm in for before I pull the axle. Thanks for the video.
