This video shows you how to install a new TRQ direct-fit bolt up catalytic converter assembly on your 2000-2007 Ford Focus. This vehicle uses an integrated exhaust manifold and catalytic converter assembly. That means you can replace the manifold, or the catalyst, without needing any cutting or welding.
This repair was done on a 2006 Ford Focus ZX4 2.0L Sedan 4-Door FWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

The cat you sell is skinnier than OEM so the round bracket won't clamp tight around it. There's a 3/8" gap all around. How do you solve this?

I’m also wounding about the clamp. I couldn’t connect the clamp or the heat shield due to the after market alterations.. I had to heat wrap the exhaust in the mean time
