Nice video thanks. One thing I was taught was to clean up the rubber caliper piston boot while it's extended and put some sill glide on it to extend the life of the caliper.

Question - do you have to mess with the bushing and control arm to change the brake pad and rotor?

Nope. All you have to do are the steps shown in the video.
