We were stuck getting the passenger transaxle out. Those 3 bolts were tough to get out but it's the only way. Thanks, we got it done.

Im glad they showed one grtting stuck. Often they never come out. Which means you need to order that bracket as well to have in hand.

How did you get the bracket on there with the axle? Every time I try and install the bracket first the axle doesn’t want to line up inside the transmission

This tutorial does not work for the 6 Cylinder 3.5 model the brackets are crammed in with too much other stuff to be able to get it off you have to take it to a shop which I only realized after taking everything apart. This video would work fine if I had a 4cyl

Question... the spline with a round shield cap at the end that connects to the transmission (transaxle), does the cap seeded flush to transmission or is there a small gap? Do you remember if you had to hammer it in? I just replaced my 2011 and it has small gap, no transmission fluid leak from it but my traction control light came on, picture of car with squiggly lines behind it.

Just get a hydraulic press and press the bracket off it’s easy that’s what I did. It came off in 30 seconds.

He forgot to mention. IMPORTANT! THERE IS AN INDENT ON THE AXLE NUT, YOU MUST DENT IT OUt. Unless of course youre at a shop with air powdered high torque tools. The rest of the video is useless if you cant even do step 1.

I wonder how the wheel would spin evenly without the rubber clamped axel balancer between the outer boot annd the cv assembly inner once installed. After market parts are well known for missing componetts design affecting speed Rolling on the ground fuctionallity. If your car is a reliable toyota why wouldn't you look into an on line lower discount OEM parts? Plus add more transmission oil once the job is comple.

33mm for axle nut is to loose. 32mm is to tight. 30mm is definitely not going on
