@youngindagame30 On this particular vehicle we currently don't have a video that shows you how to replace the rear struts. However there should be a bolt or two at the top and bottom that hold them in place. We do carry the Haynes repair manuals for this vehicle that should show you how to make this repair. We currently do not have an auto repair video for the rear struts. They may come off in a similar fashion. If you have a Haynes manual for the vehicle it should show you the steps that need to be taken to change them in your car.

HI Jason, You could (chock the rear tires) keep those on the ground, and support the front of the car on jack stands. Then use your floor jack to take some of the weight off of the suspension, so that you can connect the new strut. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

We do not recommend modifying the struts to lower the vehicle. You may want to look for a recommended lowering kit for the car that would also make it handle correctly, with correct spring rates.

I have a acura/honda A acura cl 3.0 1997. My strut mounting plate is triangle shaped(0riginal from manufacturer). I noticed you use a five bolt patern and there is not video showing how to remove these two bolts. Please provide information on removing the two bolts. Thank you

I am sure this is what needs to be done with our car, if you hit a dip (not a pothole) in the road you hear it. Sounds like the tire is hitting the frame. Is this the same for the front of a 1990 Honda Accord LX ? I am planning on replacing the front in a few days when I replace the tires ......

When you say "Drive this down the strut"... there is a bolt on the back of this part. shouldn't you loose it ? and when you put it back together, you should have a little something to align and this bolt to tighten. aren't you ?
