I bought a loaded strut to make the job easier. The endlink bolts would not come out, I had to spend about 1 hour on each endlink cutting off the nuts with a grinder and cutting disk. I had to buy new endlinks.

cowl and wiper transmission. one shop broke my wiper transmission luckily i got it replaced n/c but not from that shop they put it back with jb weld! Berings were bad right after job or they were in backwards. Put new ones. Due to the pandemic i'm not sure what strut i got, cheap o or the one from toyota, i mean autozone replinishment. I some noise now by the links, on light bumps. stabilizer links never repalced two strut jobs. I'll never buy monroe again. previous car drove in -5 degrees and it botoomed out. Replaced from tennaco, tried again no luck, got a final strut same thing. I paid labor all three times as i bought the part online. i like the kyb.

@@RBTheMechanic I did but OEM from Toyota to replace the junk. Yes it cost. But they gave me the best ride. Mind you I hit a pot hole in the center of the road at 55mph. They still didn't repair some of that from two years ago. My shock boot blew off. My mechanic didn't believe me. I should have retrie ved it. That shock is still on. Cool on your shocks.

With a strut kit, do you have to tighten the center nut on top of spring assembly? It comes fully assembled.

It comes assembled and is tight I would still double check it

Hi RB there's a difference between the front left and the right I bought both left and right but the look the same. Could you tel me if there's any difference?

Yes they r diffrent they sway bar mount is on diffrent angle and top mount is diffrent angle if ur buying assembly also the brake line attachment with 12mm bolt so right and left is diffrent it’s like having right and left shoe

Nope u need the mahcine u can also take it to pep boys they can do the swap for u or buy assembly

U just need to compress it and this shock absorbers bothway up and down but harder but it can be easily done on compress machine

what type of hold and drive feature does it have? internal torx , external hex, or two flats?

Great! I just learned that I can't change my sienna shocks unless I have a shock compressor. Hooray! Now if I only knew what a shock compressor is and how it works. Your videos are made for people who are already master mechanics, not for the common everyday shade tree mechanic.

Yes but at least u got an idea not to jump in to the job without everything needed however if u buy quickstruts it’s complet assembly u don’t need to compress remove and swap with new one
