How to replace HDD with SSD - Lenovo Z51

Nice video! Are you tried to use HD with Caddy instead of DVD slot? so, you can use SSD for C and programs, and HD for Backfiles like movies, etc. No one need today to use DVD slot.

Thx, for this point in time only the HDD started to act funny so I replaced it with a SSD. For what that laptop is used it doesn't need that much storage space to justify adding both a HDD and SSD.

Very nice video... i am more confirmable to upgrade my Lenovo Z51 laptop after watching the video. I don't have boot pen drive. If you please advise can we make it from existing win 10 machine?

@@LikeVanessaOfficial I think if you install ssd in caddy and try to boot it from ssd the bios will not recognise it. You need to install ssd on in place of hdd and not in caddy

Thanks for your reply, what I have done is. I have replaced my hdd with ssd, then I have replaced dvd drive with caddy installed with hdd. Which is not detecting. Need support to fix.
