Umm....yea..... I'll keep the original lights and deal with the faded headlamps. What a job! Not like the old days when glass headlamps were a breeze to replace. Next thing you know we'll be dropping the engine just to replace the oil pan bolt.

I couldn’t have done this task without this video. I like how you did NOT breeze through any of the steps leaving us DYI’ers in the lurch. I will say that I did not remove the “upper” grill, just left it attached and was able to get those 3 snaps undone in the mid grill.

Thank you! I thought it was a bit ridiculous at first but those side bolts on the headlights are impossible to get to without removing the bumper. Followed this and it’s really not bad at all apart from the typical aged clips being brittle. Took about 1 hour start to finish, and could definitely be quicker if you study this video first and have the right tools ready to go. Thanks again!!!

Those side fender bolts are the main issue, and reason for the whole bumper removal. Insane.

6:20 The video is helpful but there's very, very important info omitted! The video skips showing how the wheel well trim is removed. How much effort is needed? Are there clips we don't see? I'm finding it impossible to get the trim off and all I'm doing is flexing the plastic I'm afraid I'm going to break the wheel well trim. PLEASE ADD what needs to be done to get the trim off.

It looks like most of this is unnecessary. I’m going to check other diy vids about the Highlander without this guy with the blonde topknot. I am willing to bet this headlight assembly comes right out but removing just a few top bolts. No reason to remove any splash whole shields or the whole fender! Please explain, when you just loosened two or three top bolts and with nothing in the way (even if the fender were there) the headlight just slid out? Why make a deceptive video like this to make the job 100xhardwr than it actually is?
