This is a very easy repair and if you have the right tools it does not take long at all. 2/5 difficulty and that’s because of this video. Thank you so much, this helped so much!

When you started the motor, I heard that rattle is that part of the VVT system that needs to be checked? Mine does the same thing and I’m trying to figure out what it is.. it’s not the motor tapping or anything but it does it briefly on start up

Great video. Thank you. No seals or orings to change?

I heard your Accord do the same thing mine is doing and that is when you first start it, it rattles like there are metal marbles being rattled for a few seconds, again, right at start up and then it stops. Any idea what that might be? Thank you in advance for your answer!

I'd like to note that this should also work for the 7th gen Honda Accords (2003-2007), as the engine (K24A4 for US model) and pump are the same models.

Is this part specific to the 2.4 or will it also work for a 3.5 v6?
@emangee9268 Жыл бұрын
Have gained experience and knowledge of vehicles by working at an auto parts store and based on the 2.4l and the 3.5, those would be different engines so I'm sure it will be different power steering pumps.

I wanna know what that power tool is. Nice, battery operated, impact wrench - tried to catch the mfg but just didn't get a good view of it.

This did not look like the fluid recommended by the manufacturer as Honda’s fluid is sold in a totally different bottles. What did you use?

No air bleeding? I did everything as shown in the video, but when I started the car, the fluid became bubbly and eventually overflowed through the reservoir. I let it stay for a night, in the morning the liquid looked fine and I did the air bleeding, but the results are the same: the liquid becoming very bubbly. If someone know that's the problem please let me know
