An awesome video. The fact you don't talk allows the "visual" part of the brain to take it all in. I hate videos where the person blabs for the first two minutes!

Great job I just bought a 2008 Mercury Mariner hybrid with 92000 miles and I'm fixing to try this and I'm terribly uninclined to do this on my own. Great video by the way

Excellent job, except according to ford, you need to put dielectric grease on inside of spark plug boots and ceramic portion of spark plug.

Thanks for this video! It was really helpful. On my 2006, I need a 10mm deep 3/8" drive instead of the 8mm you used in your 2008. Also, when you pull the ignition coil, I needed to use a bit of a rocking motion to get both the coil and the boot to come out cleanly!

This is really helpful. Can you link to your video showing replacement of the fuel filter? That's next up on my maintenance list!

Great Video, how ever, you did not show the measuring of the -GAP w/ a GAPPING tool, even if they say, "Oh it's okay they are PRE-GAPPED" , but every time I do my spark plugs and I checked them they're always off!!!, Also, put some multi-purpose grease, or a layer of clean oil on the - THREADS of the Spark plugs, for when taking them out, they will come out with better ease, & with less struggle, & risk the chance of breaking a spark plug....

I would squirt a little PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench down the spark plug hole and let set a few minutes before removing the plug. After 100K, it could be stuck in there good.
