How To Replace Spark Plugs & Ignition Coils | 1.8t

I've been binge-watching all your A4 B5 videos for the past hour or so lol. I've got a question: which coil packs did you end up buying and have you had any issues with them? I've been reading and searching, and it seems most people would recommend Denso or other OEM-type coil packs. Bremi's had a recall, APR's seem hit or miss with the counterfeits, and Delphi's appear to be a bit inconsistent... mine's also a 2001 Santorini Blue (FWD only), so it's very similar to yours except mine has engine code APU which again appears to be a bit different to AEB engines mainly because of the additional sensors and VVT. NGK, Denso, others? Also, I'm super interested in getting a set of B5 S4 wheels for mine. Is there any difference to consider for my car, besides the fact that its FWD? It currently has the 16" wheels. Thank you in advance!

Hey man I'm glad you're finding good information! For my coilpacks I went OEM. I have an identical 1.8t that I pulled the parts off of. If you have the ability to order from FCP Euro or ECS Tuning I wouldn't worry about knock offs. Else direct form manufacturers. For your wheels you shouldn't have any issues unless you have lowered your car.

@@WidgeTheWiz thank you so much! I have not lowered mine and plan on replacing front shocks and all brakes/pads soon to get it ready for the bigger wheels. for the coil packs I was looking at DENSO 6739300 from RockAuto.

Well my misfire is gone so i'd say yes!
