Btw, next time ya try this you have to rewrite the amp in the passenger side truck wall, fusions when they were made they made the speakers have more bass than what you want, hence why they sound like that

I did the same thing a while back with my ford fusion, turns out when replacing the back speakers from stock to a newer model, the car cant supply enough power to the speakers anymore. So i had to wire the side doors to the back speakers and they worked. That or you youll have to upgrade your stock radio or install a amplifyer, to adjust the settings/power output.

The reason you ran wire from the doors to these isn't because of power...it's because you were sending a full range signal to the back...the back speakers are meant to fill in bass only...they're like a subwoofer but not truly a sub. You need a woofer that has no tweeter...a component speaker not coaxial.

Those rear decks are subs… they’re not speakers. You got terrible sound because you were forcing subwoofer frequencies through a speaker system designed for all BUT sub frequencies. If you want to swap those subs in the deck, you need subs that fit, or you need to add a new amp because the factory amp is set to low pass filter everything going to those decks.

Bud those are subs in the back not speakers and those are sum pretty good subs I think there 6x9s not the biggest but there still good for the time

the rear speaker are setup to be subwoofer from factory you must have the sony premium system

They are meant to be for bass only, you are correct (can't really call them subs though as they're just a woofer)...on that note, there are 2 systems that use them. I have a 2016 Fusion SE 2.5l with tech package and it has the 10 speaker system, but it's not Sony...it's an upgrade from the base 6 speaker though. I have mid and tweeter in each door (8 speakers) plus the two woofers in the rear deck (2 speakers for a total of 10). It's amplified, but it's slightly below the Sony system in the hierarchy.

@@BrewCity_Jo Thanks. Mine is a 2014 and didn't come with 6X9 speakers in the rear. I want to install a pair and have it powered by an amp. Can I use the factory app that came with the Titanium? Mine is the 1.6 SE with manual transmission.

No the factory ones r speakers.. the sony system powers the rear deck as subwoofers. He didnt get the right type of speaker for rear deck.. he got the coaxial 6x9 not the component

@@TreySoSuave It's not just Sony. The Titanium has Sony, but if you get the Tech Package in a lower trim (I have a 2016 SE with tech package), you get a non-Sony 10 speaker system. This gives you the 8 inch screen, the amp and speaker upgrade, and the 2 4 inch screens on the dash. With that said, you're saying the same thing as Trevor...just because he called them woofers and you're saying they're speakers...you're saying the same thing but using different terms...they're not subs...they are mid-range but they act as a woofer in the system. They're meant to fill in some of the bass, but don't have very low frequency response. And yes, a component is what is needed. But good job arguing online dix naughty normus.

@@Mike.Macmyazka Well I’m only here because my mom has the Sony system in her titanium hybrid and one of her stock rear deck 6x9’s blew for the millionth time so she went to a audio shop to get it replaced for some better high-quality ones and they wasn’t hitting the same because they decided to put some skar 6x9’s in the rear deck and i searched up the exact ones and they were coaxial not components.. I wanted to see what people was running in there fusions so now im here. And I know they are mid range but they are still a fucking speaker lol. And i’am dixie normus

i used the signal coming from the rear door 6 inch speakers to supply the rca converter for a signal for the cross over to feed the bass amp and the amp for the highs. the rear door 6 inch speakers have a somewhat full range signal
