Clear & concise yes but doesn't address the vital issue of registering the new battery with the car's computer. If you have start/stop you've probably got an AGM battery and intelligent charging [as on a 2011 A3 TDCi for E.g.]. If so, the computer needs to know you've replaced the old failing battery with a brand new one so it will charge it accordingly. Otherwise the new battery will be charged in the same way as the old, and the new battery will be damaged over time. Seems an over complicated system to me but that's how it is. Hope that helps. P.s. Being an old codger I've grown up with Haynes Manuals but "they sure ain't what they used to be!"

You're right, but the manual this video is taken from doesn't cover stop/start models, hence the lack of battery registration procedure. Unfortunately, Haynes manual origination ceased in 2020
