Thank goodness the solution wasn't in pill form. Bahahaha! Ahhh, the clips from hell. Hate those things if it has some age and become brittle. Thanks for sharing!

Lol no pills for this fix! Yeah luckily for the higher mileage this car is super clean, and so far I haven't had any issues with any of the repairs, knocking on wood as I type - also no from a pill :)

Do you have to take the whole door panel off or just pop off the wood grain panel and screws

You could probably take just the wood trim part off, BUT they tend to break clips doing that, so I like to pop the whole door panel off. It's not that hard and saves the frustration of a broken trim piece.

How do you know if it's the switch or the window motor?

You would need to test both to see which one is the issue. In my case it was an intermittent issue, and I popped the switch out when it wasn't working and tested to see if I had output from the switch when it was acting up (I didn't).

I was fully expecting to break stuff! Glad I didn't. This car has been pretty good to me so far.
