Hey man what is the year of the replacement transmission? And did you need to do a proxy alignment or clear any codes before installing and starting it up?

You didn't need to reprogram the TCM to communicate the PCM with the 8HP70 swap?

No , it's not necessary to reprogram the TCM . The transmission shifted great. Thanks for watching.

What caused the issue? Was this before or after you changed the transmission pan and filter?

I bought the car this way , however from what I could tell the it was caused by transmission fluid leak. I actually replaced the pan and filter at the same time of the transmission replacement.Thanks for the question.

I actually recently had to put a remote transmission oil cooler on a Durango with a 3.6 in it because of that leaking line you had on yours too it's pretty ridiculous they made the condenser and the cooler all-in-one like that I told the lady I could save her 500 plus dollars if she just been 50 bucks on Amazon for a remote transmission cooler fixed her right up she's been good ever since
