In this video, I change out the the lower control arm on the 2010 Nissan Rogue . This was really straight forward for removing and replacing the lower control arm, from removing the two 21mm bolts retaining the control arm into the subframe and the 18mm nut and bolt holding the round bushing into the subframe. These bolts and nuts may give you a bit of a run for your money it it founded to be rusted much like mine. Otherwise the whole process is really simple given you have the proper tools, skill and knowledge. Thanks for sharing, well explained. Tip about raising rotor to access that one 21 mm bolt is handy. Several videos show removing bolt for stabilizer bar in order to access those 21 mm bolts. Appreciate torque specs at the end.

Lol I have an 08 same problem but only the bushing is bad. Unfortunately I'll have to pay to have it done. No auto work in my apartment complex. Great video though. Thanks if I wanted to I feel confident you showed how to.

You make it look so easy! I changed the same parts . On a 2008 Rogue . I messed up and installed the ball joint first . I had to take it off And do the 2 bolts that bolt to the chasis first . Thanks for the video .

Great video.....penetrating grease on the nuts and bolts before you start is not a bad idea.

I have not watched your video. I just did this on my Rogue this past weekend. I'm sure your explanation is fine. But please PLEASE, correct the title. It's Rogue not Rouge. Ones a thief or grifter, the other is makeup.

No, the ball joint nor the bushing were a root cause to the fabled Nissan vibration. I have been in and out of the dealer along with worked on this car for a mighty long time and it just vibrates. Claimed to be under normal operation, but I highly doubt it and have been driving the vehicle with the annoying vibrations and sounds of cheap plastic since the vehicle was a year old. No matter the work that is done, it still drives me bonkers and racks a bill.

@@Alexa_Spencer mines a 15 bought it used with 67,000, slight vibration on it during test drive didn’t think much of it , well now it’s gotten worse , I replaced the lower control arms with ball joints , well the ride definitely got better , well the vibration is still there , its literally under the drivers side and passenger side floor , and I just recently noticed while turning left sometimes I get a metal scratching noise , for like a split second. Almost sounds like a bad strut bearing , I’m not sure but I’m gonna do some more stuff , all work done by me , but I don’t wanna keep throwing money at it either . I almost considered bad drive shaft but there’s no play in it at either ends of carrier bearing so I guess I’ll dig a little Draper
