Is it possible for Haynes to show how to do this on the 1.8 litre models? I can not find the filter anywhere in the engine bay. Ive got the owners manual but it does not show how to replace the filter. I know where it is at the passenger seat. But I can’t figure out how to get the old filter out.

Sorry, we don't have a video showing the fuel filter on the 1.8L. On some models the filter is incorporated into the tank-mounted pump/sender unit. Access is through a panel under the rear seat cushion.

@@HaynesManuals Ok to bad, yes I know where it is located it is where you describe it. But it seems like impossible to get the filter out. Thanks for replying. I’ll try Rover forums.

This filter is only fitted to diesel engine models, and is located at the rear of the engine compartment
