Today I'll be replacing the headlights my 2007 first generation Acura TSX. It is a simple process and I made the video as short as possible because my guess is that you want to DIY like me right now and don't have time for a full tutorial on auto repairs. I kept the video under 15 minutes and if you appreciate that, then give this video a big like, comment if it worked for you.
Although I did it on my Acura TSX, this is the same set up for most vehicles from Honda and Acura from the era. A set of simple tools and you'll be able to save some money.

True. I tried to remove the least amount of fasteners but at the end it turns out the same, just get it all off

New subscriber Thank you so much I have a 2004 Acura TSX with only 160 mi on it it has been a wonderful car I love it I just having a little bit electrical problems with the window passenger side and need to replace the driver side headlight Thank you so much for the informative video and wish me luck let's hope this does right oh by the way I did get a HID light you didn't specify which bulb you put in are they interchangeable or do I have to use a LED?

Great video, the dealership wanted $1000 per headlight assembly for parts and then another $1000 for labor so we got an after market headlight assembly for $500 and doing it our selves based on your video. Great father son project.

I’d say very similar. In a nutshell, I feel that you have to take off the whole bumper to be able to get them properly installed. I saw some videos that claim you can do it without having to remove the bottom portion of the bumper but it really doesn’t make a difference as it is a hassle anyways. I had the luxury of an extra set of hands in my friend who has all the tools needed etc. if I were to do it again, I’d order the clips to reinstall the bumper and or grill as they tend to get damaged and not work 100%. Live and learn. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I had a 2007 TSX in Glacier Blue Metallic and it was the first car I ever purchased brand new. I had no real issues with it but the Bluetooth issue did come up. It was draining my battery and once I found out about disconnecting it, I had no more battery issues. However, I did traded it in for a 2016 RDX. But there are those times when I miss that TSX.

I like that color too. I do see a couple of them around in that color here by my house. When I was trying to figure out an issue I too disconnected the Bluetooth and although it wasn’t the issue, I never went back to connect it. Thank you for your comment!

Agree! Sadly it’s actually less complicated than newer cars with everything so compacted that it makes it nearly impossible for a mortal to be able to do stuff like this. This car offers relatively ample space between components to do the job. Worth every penny in my opinion. The car looks amazingly clean with the new lights.

@@JuanCarlosLTO I just struggled trying to replace the bulb to find out my baluster was no good anyways. So I had to take it apart ☹️ your video was useful. But you’re right. Newer cars just get more complicated. Eventually they’ll make it so complicated mortals will no longer be able to provide service 🤣

@franky-fr9ow by law, aftermarket headlights can’t be identical to OEM ones so if you like the OEM look, factory is the only way to go. Aftermarket ones are hit and miss and most times can’t match the quality and specifications of the OEM ones so sometimes they get condensation, etc pretty quick.
