Good morning I have a 2020 mantis with no power at the lcd display. Charging fuse is good, I’m thinking it’s the controller or possibly the battery got water into it. I got it for free and don’t know the history of but I’m ok with putting money into it

I have a mantis with the two (A & B) brushless controllers, that I believe to be bad ? Is there a quick way to test the controllers with the multimeter? I have them out and tested the ohms and got (8.13 ohms) off the black and red not sure if im doing it right it’s been forever! TIA….

Is there a particular order you have to plug the battery into the controller (eg: positive & negative) or does it not matter?

On to my second controller despite measures to waterproof, in short do not use in wet. The IPX54 rating is laughable.

These scooters are so weak against water damage is just stupid. But the quality of screws is just laughable. Seal everything you can before going out in rain.

100%. A tech at the outlet from which I purchased said correctly - "they are a sieve". Screws are simply not 'fit for purpose'. Amazing that it is such a good scooter otherwise. Absolutely 'Made in China'.
