Thanks for the video bro, you unscrewed the wrong bolt on the caliper though to take it off haha. Easy to figure that part out but newbies could realign wrong afterwards.

Much better removal of the battery btw. I stuck a piece of gorilla tape on the sealed end. About an inch or so on the bottom all the way up the side the a tappers cut about an inch long that sticks out the top with the tape folded over for the tab. Then next time its gotta be removed you can grab the tab with some pliers. And no risk to the cells or bms. Pulling the wires once or twice is no biggie though. Make the tab like an inch wide tops so you can Use pliers not fingers to pull it out But double it over so it will be strong enough and wont stick back down

Awesome Voro! This guy did a great tutorial. Hope to see him in more!! Id love to see some mod videos in the future. Is it possible to use the hall sensors That are already inside the motors on the mantis? And why would i or wouldn’t i want too? I bet the drivetrain in these have so much unlockable potential that could be tapped into! They’re basically a Dualtrons electronics hiding inside a Kaabo designed chassis. How do we add the fingerprint reader or a thumb trigger?? How to safely add carbon fiber in appropriate areas that would reduce weight? Like the deck and foot rest possibly handlebars. Not the stem though. Thats off limits. I bet some Dualtron style mods can totally be done on kaabos. So who’s gonna do it first??

Thank you for the kind words! More tutorials, including mods, are on the way! Since the motors have hall sensors, they can be utilized to get a smoother acceleration, but a different controller would need to be installed to access that particular feature. We need to do more testing, but we should have modding videos for different displays and throttle options across our models coming soon. We appreciate your ideas!

@@VoroMotors would it need a new controller though? Cause there’s a lot of unused pads on the one installed. With letters and numbers I am trying to decrypt myself lol. I think it even has at least one hall sensor onboard as well. Actually cause it’s a 2 in 1 but one per board. Could be a voltage regulator though idk it’s left of the 1000uf cap though.

Need to do this cause I stripped two bolts to remove the rim from the tire. Need a damn new motor since I damaged it trying to extract the bolt🤦🏻♂️ I read somewhere that an error shows up on the unit after replacing the motor. is this true?
@VoroMotors Жыл бұрын
Hi Eduardo, Thanks for the comment! There is loctite on all of the bolts and screws in the area around the motor for the Mantis Pro SE, so significant force is required to extract them while being careful to avoid stripping those screws and bolts. It should not be the case that you get a new error code after replacing the motor unless perhaps a connection was made improperly or damage caused during a replacement attempt. While we do have this video here for customers that feel comfortable performing self repairs, if you need assistance, feel free to reach out to our team at support@voromotors.com if you need it.

The 6 4mm screw on my motor hub are all stripped, any tips on removing them?
@gavloft2 жыл бұрын
Same here, have you managed to remove them?
@pstreaks2 жыл бұрын
@@gavloft it was a pain in the a$$ eventually had to use a screw extractor kit that you stick in the drill and run in reverse to grab onto the stripped head of the bolt. Once it's out make sure to replace them with higher quality bolts

What would you need to change the motor? Given its a new scooter to begin with
@sp33dy19792 жыл бұрын
The tutorial is still useful for those who don't need to replace the motor. Because it shows you how to detach the motor wires which is something you'll need to do if you decide to upgrade the brake rotors to Magura.

Well he’s not gonna try track down a beat up used scooter for a prop. he’s gonna use the nice brand new ones that are all right there at the location probably in stacks 10’ high. And if i had to guess he probably stuck the same motors back on. This is a replacement i did shortly after buying my 2022se due to manufacturing defect. Voro sent a new one covered by the warrantee the same day i sent an email about it. I love how this company doesn’t just sell you a scooter they are there for you every day after no matter the day time or issue. Through email chat and especially these videos. Youll pay a little more here but you will be glad you did. Ive purchased 9 escooters now brand new all from different companies and out of every one I’ve dealt with Voro is the absolute best with customer service. Minimotors is the only other company in this market i can say has service like these guys. I don’t own a Dualtron yet but i email them about parts they make that are also used on kaabos line, and they also are excellent. Pretty much everyone else gives very little effort after the initial sale.

this is sadly also a procedure to change the rotors, ouch... i'm in shock: the rotors swap is so frequent but here it requires all this disassembly.. please, why the rotor isn't on the opposite side:( update : i've just seen the fluidride video to change rotors and that is pure insanity, they have to cut cable packs, fiddle with connectors, remove the front frame, the controller, alter the water sealing -- all to change the rotors. say what?? i think of shipping the scooter back.

Remember guys to connect motor wire green to blue and the other blue to green so motor goes the correct direction. I'd you connect blue to blue and green to green the motor will go in reverse 😂
