No it was just an opinion, Aks are awesome! But in the US you have access to almost any weapon platform and the AK is starting to show its age. Luckily the aftermarket is making it more modern but the draco is supposed to be easy to conceal and maneuver in a vehicle and the AR can be configured to do the same thing but smaller, lighter and more accurate with more penetrating capabilities compared to the slow slapping force of the 7.62. Once again they are awesome! But in the U.S. when you have access to almost anything it kinda just makes no sense unless you got it because you heard rappers put it in their songs when even they know nothing about firearms 😂 but yeah it’s all just opinion anyway! Keep on shooting!!

Well there's physical cover, and there's visual cover, hiding behind a couch, or vehicle is always better than nothing, hence why police officers hide behind their doors in a shootout. If your body is behind somethings the chances of you being hit are reduced, it may not be a substantial amount, but its better than nothing.

As a fan of 7.62x39, this is a definite eye opener! I've shot firearms for years but I've near drawn down on a vehicle so I've never witnessed the results in comparison to shooting targets in an open field. What you recreated was a more realistic urban setting and to see what really happens drives the message straight home literally and figuratively! Also, I personally want to thank you for educating the masses. We all know this is directed towards a specific group but none the less there's no such thing as bad knowledge .

For experimentation purposes only (for the people), what about a flesh simulation? They say pork is the closest thing to human flesh. I've heard stories about people in the African Congo being hit with 7.62 and entire limbs would have to be amputated. I am in no way promoting the destruction of another human as I love everyone who has love for me but I feel it would be another eye opener for your audience. Another reason as you said to 'keep running'!

Great video, if you're ambushed while in a car you either need to speed out of the kill zone or bail and get away from it and into cover. Only places remotely viable to take cover is the engine block and rear and front axles. You can go prone and shoot from behind these area's, however you need to worry about ricochet's. Also if you shoot over a hood or trunk you need to give yourself some space as rounds will skip off of them and hit you. stay safe folks

Especially if you get law enforcement training that shows you how to drop bullets underneath a car and make your day even more miserable. Whole hearted agreement DM! Too many think cars are cover for powerful calibers like 7.62x39 or 5.45x34 (AK-74) or even 5.56 NATO (.223). You ARE NOT SAFE behind a car. This video proves it. It's a stretch as well if you happen to have someone blasting at you and they whip out a shotgun (12ga slug) or .50AE Beowulf and that will take an engine block out. DM said it best "get out of the car and FIND COVER" even a low ditch that is below the shooters firing line is better than nothing. Indeed stay safe!!! Or as NAS put it "We in the bullet proof vest years, the aim for the head and chest years". (Song is Victory by Nick T)

Sound advice. I once saw a breakdown of shooters accuracy over different distances, and how this is affected by real combat stress. The TLDR was that the average human is incredibly inaccurate with a gun when they are shitting their pants. At the same time, people who are running because they are shitting their pants, can cover distances faster than their best speed record. Combine this with simple geometry ... the further you move away from the shooter, you become exponentially harder to hit because the correct angle of fire diminishes rapidly over distance. Basically, immediately running away from the shooter (preferably weaving slightly), gives you the highest possibility of not being shot. Besides, if you hide 30 feet away, the shooter only has to walk around and THEN shoot you. Great video.

7.62x39 is a great round for barrier penetration, obviously. As compact as that Draco is I think the best compromise is the AMD65's 12.5" barrel; short enough that with the stock folded can fit into a small bag, but long enough barrel to get enough good muzzle velocity. Interesting video nonetheless.

@@playboy901 Here. I found a couple links. Adding the 5.56 as well. For comparison sake. Certainly not scientific. But it backs literally everything I have ever heard or seen regarding 7.62x39 in shorter barrels. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zn2bYqydZdFjqZo kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipPHf42reNt4npY In the 7.62x39 comparison there is a 261 fps drop going from a 21.5" barrel to a 10" barrel. That equals an absolute ton of energy on target considering the bullet is usually twice as heavy as the 5.56. I'm telling you, the 7.62x39 wrecks as an SBR round.

Gun control is about racism and slavery This Patriotic Veteran approves this mesg Gun deaths There are 30,000 gun related deaths per year by firearms, and this number is not disputed. The U.S. population is 324,059,091 as of June 22, 2016. Do the math: 0.00925% of the population dies from gun related actions each year. Statistically speaking, this is insignificant! What is never told, however, is a breakdown of those 30,000 deaths, to put them in perspective as compared to other causes of death: • 65% of those deaths are by suicide, which would never be prevented by gun laws. • 15% are by law enforcement in the line of duty and justified. • 17% are through criminal activity, gang and drug related or mentally ill persons - better known as gun violence. • 3% are accidental discharge deaths. So technically, "gun violence" is not 30,000 annually, but drops to 5,100. Still too many? Now lets look at how those deaths spanned across the nation. • 480 homicides (9.4%) were in Chicago • 344 homicides (6.7%) were in Baltimore • 333 homicides (6.5%) were in Detroit • 119 homicides (2.3%) were in Washington D.C. (a 54% increase over prior years) So basically, 25% of all gun crime happens in just 4 cities. All 4 of those cities have strict gun laws, so it is not the lack of law that is the root cause. This basically leaves 3,825 for the entire rest of the nation, or about 75 deaths per state. That is an average because some States have much higher rates than others. For example, California had 1,169 and Alabama had 1. Now, who has the strictest gun laws by far? California, of course, but understand, it is not guns causing this. It is a crime rate spawned by the number of criminal persons residing in those cities and states. So if all cities and states are not created equal, then there must be something other than the tool causing the gun deaths. Are 5,100 deaths per year horrific? How about in comparison to other deaths? All death is sad and especially so when it is in the commission of a crime but that is the nature of crime. Robbery, death, rape, assault are all done by criminals. It is ludicrous to think that criminals will obey laws. That is why they are called criminals. But what about other deaths each year? • 40,000+ die from a drug overdose-THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT! • 36,000 people die per year from the flu, far exceeding the criminal gun deaths. • 34,000 people die per year in traffic fatalities(exceeding gun deaths even if you include suicide). Now it gets good: • 200,000+ people die each year (and growing) from preventable medical errors. You are safer walking in the worst areas of Chicago than you are when you are in a hospital! • 710,000 people die per year from heart disease. It’s time to stop the double cheeseburgers! So what is the point? If the liberal loons and the anti-gun movement focused their attention on heart disease, even a 10% decrease in cardiac deaths would save twice the number of lives annually of all gun-related deaths (including suicide, law enforcement, etc.). A 10% reduction in medical errors would be 66% of the total number of gun deaths or 4 times the number of criminal homicides ................ Simple, easily preventable 10% reductions! So you have to ask yourself, in the grand scheme of things, why the focus on guns? It's pretty simple: Taking away guns gives control to governments. The founders of this nation knew that regardless of the form of government, those in power may become corrupt and seek to rule as the British did by trying to disarm the populace of the colonies. It is not difficult to understand that a disarmed populace is a controlled populace. Thus, the second amendment was proudly and boldly included in the U.S. Constitution. It must be preserved at all costs. So the next time someone tries to tell you that gun control is about saving lives, look at these facts and remember these words from Noah Webster: "Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed." What ever happen to up hold the Oath of office to protect and up hold the CONSTITUTION of the USA....NOT MAKE YOUR OWN RULES/LAWS...

Not an assault rifle.... learn firearm terminology. Every firearm he was firing was semi automatic, theres no selector switch to select burst or full auto instead of semi auto, therefore it's NOT an assault rifle.

@@blakeblackwell6342 I never said the the gun in the video was an assault rifle, i said an AK is a wicked assault rifle, in the 90s, any fool can see that the AK in the video is a pistol that was inspired by the rifle, which was first produced in 2017. So i could never come across one at that time period ? What you tried to do was upstage my comment in trying to play a genius of firearms but failed. Get off the internet and get out of the house fool.

This is the difference between COVER and CONCEALMENT. Cover can stop bullets, concealment prevents you from being seen. Cover is relative though. Something that'll stop a .22 LR won't necessarily stop a .50 Cal.

Note: If you hide behind a car, it's best to make sure you're actually HIDDEN, and hiding behind anything but the engine lock is pretty much pointless unless you have a trunk full of sand, water, or concrete. At which point you could hide behind that lol.

Not even sure how this popped up on my feed, but I literally live right down the road from arrowhead. Every gun I have ever bought over the last 15 years or so have been right there at arrowhead pawn. Hell, I just bought a glock 43 just a week and half ago from there.

Looks like a really cool store. Most of the stores here are running stupid low on guns and ammo. I've seen plenty at the gun shows but they charge way too much. Some stores are stocked up on ARs but none of them can keep AKs on the shelves. Luckily I was able to snag a Zastava M70 online at the end of November. I'm considering making the 6 hour drive to arrowhead haha

@@jackmemphis777 they definitely have lots of guns in stock but they are low on ammo as well and what they do have is selling at a much higher price than normal. It's a great store though, very friendly and professional.

Just subbed bruh, that Draco is sick! I'm slowly changing my mind bout Ak's. I love my Ar's & 9's, I'm trying to stay with two calibers. Watching this is making it tough to stay the course. My focus is the cans, just bought my 1st one today! I'll see how long the Atf takes now. Atf is an infringement on our gun rights!🤘🏼

Don't be fooled... Most of em got a knockoff or a 22lr version. You think these dudes really know about chamber sizes, barrel length or even how to shoot effectively? No...
