Thanks for the advice. I have a Chrysler 200 with the exact same issues, and I'm going to use your advice to try to fix my own throttle body issue. Even if it's not the issue, I have subscribed out of appreciation of the advice. This same advice would have cost me a good bit to drag out of a shop.

Replace Victor‘s coils mass flow air sensor sensors button in front and rear I have Cadillac converter she said It ran fine for a few days but with a rough idle then she explain what you just explained like I didn’t have to redo it every so often Car has been kicking my ass and I think what you just said is it I’m hoping thank you very much

I have a 2005 Chrysler 300 3.5 I took it off and cleaned it with throttle body cleaner. But it's still having the same issue. I held it up at one point and could see a little bit of space between the body and the butterfly. Is that normal ? Or should the butterfly be tight against the body ?

I want to upgrade my TB to a 87mm, do you know if I have to upgrade my headers and cam? I seen a fourm saying it won't make a difference if I don't upgrade the head and cam?

Turn key to on position, not engaging starter, press pedal to the floor release.. programmed.

So I went on #JUSTFORJEEPS I ordered a new throttle body for my 09 Jeep SRT8 and replaced it myself literally took me 20 mins and my jeep runs brand new the shifts are smoother and the peddle is touchy again. I could’ve cleaned it but with the age of my jeep I decided just to go with a new one. Problem fixed because of this video and even the mechanics couldn’t see what it was because it had no check engine lights on.

If you plan on upgrading your throttle body please don’t, I can’t stress this enough. I upgraded mine and it threw a code of a random misfire. I switched back and unfortunately it’s still there I have done everything imaginable to try and fix it but I recently watched another video and it’s possible the clip that connects the throttle body itself broke. Apparently this is a common problem for these vehicles.

Would a bad throttle body keep engine from starting at all? I shut mine off to get gas and wouldn't start back up and still wouldn't start when I got it towed home..

No a bad throttle body will just put the car in limp mode

Take it to a mechanic if you want to re-learn it. Did you use a brand new OEM throttle body?
