My owners manual recommended changing the drive gear when you install new tracks , I had to replace front and rear idler pulleys , both sides and gears on my narrow tracks replacement , on my 2021 mt100 1000 hours non marking tracks back ordered , with service , I did the work , 5500 dollars in parts . But my Bob is a beast ,I can't go without him ..he's best employee of the month , and that was his bonus for working hard

@@BeauEnterprisesInc The content is great. Hey, do those orange tracks not leave track marks on driveways? How did you like the performance?
@BeauEnterprisesInc Жыл бұрын
@@seecesar no black marks but slight orange marks. I got the same amount of life out of them as I did the black ones it came with. I would’ve bought them again but orange wasn’t available this time around

I watched this the first time I lost one of my tracks. Super helpful! I have a bad track keeps coming off, have it down to a science now. Super easy just tedious with the tensioner.

I should've done some grooves with the knife on the old ones. Good video man. I don't have one,but learning in case I ever own one.

RG Tree Service I’m happy to see they have made some improvements to the undercarriage on there new model the MT100. They changed to a sealed idler, and roller system rather than needing to grease them. Hopefully they will switch it to grease tenisioner next

@@BeauEnterprisesInc where could I find more info? Accidentally bought wide tracks and return shipping is absurd so I figure I may as well convert if possible.

The plate that he takes off first has two notches that fit in the grooves along the side of the track , 114mm if I remember correctly , that piece is precut for track tension it fits in the notches in that slot , to check tension , not very well , they seem short , but I picked that up from my mt100 manual

Great info on how to change the tracks! Make sure to grease those rollers regularly, I have seen some really badly worn roller shafts and even worn insides of rollers from the MT lineup.
@BeauEnterprisesInc4 жыл бұрын
They are such a pain to grease. I’m glad to see the MT100 has sealed rollers. Wondering if they can be retrofit on the the MT85

This whole process seems pretty tedious. There's gotta be some higher tech skids that make it easier

Some points where a pain in the ass for sure. It would’ve been easier with a grease tensioner rather than the threaded one. Someone said you don’t have to remove the rear roller to change them but I had no other way to do it
