I can shorten this considerably. All you need to do is pull the cluster bezel, the upper housing, remove the easy to get to two screws to move the lower housing (BTW are T20), remove the two screws holding the switch, then unplug it as you're removing so it can just clear the panel with the headlamp switch. May need to push a bit on said panel. Tools: T10, T20, and a good grip. Did this on an '06. Looked pretty basic so there may be differences on a more higher end package. Only did the TS switch. Might be the same for the wipers.
