Thank you for the video. Instruction manual for our new fridge says you have to turn clockwise to install new one…almost broke the filter cause I was inserting new one and trying to turn it. Glad to see it was just manufacturer confusion lol

Thank you. I had been having issues trying to remove my filter and when I removed the top shelf per your instructions, I was able to remove it easily. I appreciate your assistance. My LG is the French Door (LG LSFD2491ST model).

The instructions for replacing water filter were very easy to understand. I installed it in just a few minutes.

Thank-you. Very good video. My problem was I wasn't opening the cover enough. The only thing I think is missing, is to purge the air from the system once the new filter is installed. I just run the water from the front into a glass till the air stops coming out. Maybe 30 seconds or so.

Hi, thanks for this. Did you shut the water off to the fridge? I'm hoping to avoid that, lol.

No need to shut water off! The system is sealed even when you have no filter in. Just put a couple paper towels down to catch any water that drips as you are taking filter in and out.

Replace filter refrigerator is still warm inside. All lights are working could it be another problem?

what is the issue you have? the filter doesn’t have anything to do with the fridge being cold. It is to filter the water for clean drinking water and ice.
