The 645ci smg clutch assembly is identical to the 645ci manual clutch assembly. I would just get the oem replacement as it is the most cost effective.

Great video. Isn't it nessecary to do a calibration of the softare when you replace a clutch on a m5 e60. Anyone knows?

If it is an SMG car, yes some calibration needs done. Manual car no calibration is needed.

My 650i was stolen a few weeks back but recovered by the police. Unfortunately the theves broke the drive system such that you can change gear but there's no drive to the wheels. Everything feels normal pedal wise and there are no bad noises from below. We're going to pull the trans tomorrow as we figure it's a clutch issue. Does that seem reaosnable or is it likely to be something else?

With a lift I can do it in 3 hours taking my time. If it's your first time maybe 5 hours.

Hey, I just installed my clutch and flywheel and it shifts great and the clutch feels fine but when I’m going about 10-20mph somethings is vibration under the car pretty aggressively. Any ideas what it could be?

Is it worse under harder acceleration?

Just checking it for deep grooves, you can always just clean it up with a wiz wheel, not many machine shops will resurface bmw dual mass flywheels
