Thank you for this video. I realize this video is about resetting the toner, but if you're like me, and are trying to elongate the life of your toner after it has already been flagged as having low toner (Replace Toner), on the HL-L2350DW, you can access the General Settings, Replace Toner, and enter Continue Mode. I also was unable to access the General Settings, so powering off the printer for a few seconds (pressing Power button down for a few seconds and then turning back on) did the trick. It also seems, for my model, that you can just press the OK button once to access General Settings. Entering Continue mode did enable me to get more prints from my starter toner cartridge.

The printer was a bit complicated to hook up kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 but it does the job very efficiently. I like the ink wells versus the ink cartages that cost an arm and a leg. It prints quickly and the quality is excellent. It shuts off when not in use, so you have to remember to turn it on. Overall, it exceeds my expectations. I'll update my review in a couple of months.

Very useful for me even 3 years later. We have 2 of these printers however 1 is not in use anymore and the other just ran out of ink. Tried to swap toners but the printer is too smart and knows the replacement wasn't "new". This was very helpful in resetting it!

OH YES! This was the missing link! I had the right instructions, but I was missing the "Do this part QUICKLY'. This video above doesn't mention that and they have backwards the 'open' with the action of closing which isn't helpful because it's deceiving.

Thanks for the hint. On my 2350DW, the procedure to reset the toner is GO-BACK for few seconds, BACK, GENERAL SETTING, REPLACE TONER, RESET, OK.

I had the same problem with this not working even though i'd tried it about 20 times. I finally unplugged it and tried again and it worked. Not sure if that's just chance or it was helpful. For my HL-L2730DW printer, i had to go to "replace toner" and then select "continue" but overall it was the same process, same buttons etc. Thanks for the video!

You might need to try it a few times to get it to display. When we filmed this it took a few tries.

Dear @LDproducts, do you know if the starter cartridge is the same thing as TN730 and TN760. I went ahead and bought TN730 and will be refilling (I guess 2-4 times?) but I wondered if I can get the same refill lifetime out of TN-starter while my other new cartridge is still safely sealed ... and use it later? The content of the starter toner cartridge is the same as the toner cartridge sold separately. The difference is the capacity. The starter toner cartridge has less capacity than the toner cartridge sold separately. Hope this helps.

I purchased a Brother Black & White laser printer, HL-L2305W a week ago. Installed Win10 printer driver, then upgraded their Brother printer firmware, 06/16/2022 (1.22) from their website. I'm still using their starter toner cartridge which is only good for 700 pages. TNR-STR does come up but it might take a few tries, this printer can be kind of fussy. It took us a few times to get it to show up when we filmed the video.

You might be referring to the tab which could be blue/green in color It cleans the primary corona wire for print quality issues, you just need to gently slide this tab left to right a few times. I hope this information helps.
