How to Reset a Dirt Hole Coyote Trap

The catch circle is great eye appeal and I always leave the trap and remake the set. I then put a second trap outside the circle. Ironic that you feel a subordinate would avoid stepping in the circle but you are using the dirt from the catch circle that has all the scent from the previous catch. I know you are correct with avoidance of some animals as I have seen it many times but there are others that just go in and commit to the trap that is in the catch circle. Not knocking you and your technique as I enjoy your videos and you teach solid info in them.

Y do you use burn dirt at fresh set next to catch circle if you think coyotes might be circle shy . Thanks for another great vid

I do that to on my remakes but i put the trap about 9.5" to a 1' back from the hole . Most of the time its 9.5" to 10" .
