How to reset frozen Asus laptop (for my Godfather)

I realized that the computer is still not risen. you need to hold the power button for longer to really turn off. then turn on and press F9. I wanted to disconnect the battery. but the battery is built in (to turn off the laptop).

Easier way: click the power off button long and then when it opened close it again and then open it again by clicking the on button(click it 1 time) and then it will show the reset thing. i hope this helps:) i did this btw
