How to Reset Maintenance Tank for Epson Stylus Pro Large Format Printers

DO NOT USE THE TANK WITHOUT PADS. Just take either cheap paper towels, women's maxi pads/tampons (could get expensive) and pack the tank with them. I use (cheap) Paper towels, stack them and then fold them tightly to fit into the tank. It's worked for me over 5 years with no problem. If you don't pad the tank and spill that ink it's going to make an absolute mess. I've also just installed the OG drivers to my Windows 11 system and it's working just fine after a deep clean with inkowl cleaning cartridges. I have/had 3 problem nozzles in the photo black but it doesn't show in the final prints unless you really scrutinize. I'm sure after a few more cleanings it will work itself out. I've had the 7600 since it was released and it's a great workhorse!

How do you suggest disposing/dumping of the ink in the maintenance tank once there aren’t pads in there anymore?

Use a pack of ladies sanitary pads to absorb the liquid instead of leaving the tank empty.

What is the error message you get on your computer when you try to print?

Hi I purchased your resetter for 9800 and when i hold it to the ink or the maintanance tank it only goes red then solid red but wont go green or rest

@@goalmind8753 My 9000 runs fine. That's never been a problem. The issue is the waste tank(s) will need to be replaced or the 9000 machine fooled into believing the waste tanks are fine....lol. There has to be a solution.
